Movie Review #2

War of the Worlds - 1 out of 4 stars. BOOOOOO, this movie sucked ass and its not just because it stars an escapee from an insane asylum (i.e. Tom Cruise). I can't explain exactly why I didn't like it, it just reminded me of a totally horrible film, "Signs." I gave it 1 star because I was mildly entertained by the special effects, etc. But Tom Cruise's maniacal smile and that little girl's annoying screaming every 10 seconds really put me off. Bottom Line: Don't bother. Unless you have a thing for Scientologist lunatics and screeching little blond girls. In which case, you should probably be watching a very different movie....
