A recent photo taken at "Rock N' Bowl" last Saturday night. In my first bowling experience in over 10 years, I scored an amazing 40 points...in the entire game. Yeah, out of 300. I got 40. Little toddlers do better than that. *Sigh* Posted by Picasa

On the way back from the Jungle Queen, I saw a dorsal fin alongside the boat, so I decided to jump in to the water and using only my car keys and teeth, managed to subdue the evil creature and bring him to shore. This is a picture of my nemesis...oh, and by the way, if you believe that bunch of crap, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Posted by Picasa

Some pictures from our recent trip to Florida! This is Carl and Rachel and us on "The Jungle Queen" - a boat trip around Ft Lauderdale that shows you a bunch of HUGE houses and alligator wrestling. Yes, really. Posted by Picasa

Today, Angela and I went to see "The Woman in White" - Andrew Lloyd Webber's new play on Broadway. Angela got me front row seats for Christmas! It was a pretty damn good show - set in the 1800's, it begins as a man comes to a little town in North England, summoned there as an art teacher for 2 sisters. The man is met at the train station by a mysterious woman in white who claims she has a secret she can't tell him, and runs away. The man meets his two pupils, both sisters fall in love with him, however he returns the affection for only one (the hotter one, of course...although both were beautiful in my opinion!). You can see the drama beginning...but the plot thickens when we find out that the hot sister is already engaged to some scumbag "nobleman." I shall leave it at that for all who decide to see it. Suffice it to say that the scenery was very uniquely done, it was very well produced and acted, and oddly enough, I found the weakest part of the show was that none of the songs really stuck with me...in other words, I am not rushing out to buy the soundtrack cuz I doubt I would ever listen to it again. But it was very entertaining and had a cool twist at the end, and I would recommend it to anyone - 3 out of 4 stars.

After the movie, we met my sister for dinner at some place near the theatre - I think it was called Maxine's, but I wouldn't swear to it - we "ate" there...I think between the three of us we may have managed to ingest 1/5 of our food cuz it was so nauseating. My sis and I had BBQ'd chicken, which tasted like it had soured ketchup on it. Our side dishes (potato and veggies for me, potato and spinach for her) all tasted like pickles. Angela had a turkey burger which apparently tasted like fried grease dipped in lard and coated with oil. So...anyone who happens to be on 48th and Broadway and is looking for a place to eat, you might want to steer clear of Maxine's (I think). Unless you are into pickle-flavored potatoes.
